Hey loves!

So this post is a fun little idea called The Christmas Tag, which I was tagged to take part in by the lovely Meg, thanks beaut! and I mean, I’m currently writing a Christmas post, while drinking tea from a Christmas cup, and watching vlogmas in the background, so you can’t get any more festive than that can you? and it’s Christmas week and I’m on my Christmas holidays from work, yay!

Q1. What is your favorite Christmas movie?

My all time favorite Christmas movie is Home Alone, 1-3 in particular. I absolutely love Macauly Culkin in the movies, he plays the part of Kevin so well. I’m gonna be honest that’s mainly the reason I don’t like the other ones, they’re just not the same without him. But for me, it’s not Christmas if you haven’t curled up in pj’s under a blanket with a hot chocolate and watch Home Alone.

Q2. What are your favorite Christmas colors?

Red and gold, but mainly red, because I get so so excited about being able to wear red lipstick everyday in December, well the days I do my makeup, feels so festive!

Q3. Do you like to stay in your pj’s or dress up on Christmas?

I stay in my pj’s for Christmas morning while having Breakfast and opening presents, but I do love dressing up for dinner and seeing family.

Q4. If you could only buy one person a Christmas present this year, who would it be?

My mum, I wish I could spoil her so much more than I can, so if that was the only thing I could do for Christmas, I would be very happy.

Q5. Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

A bit of both for this one. Every year we have Santa come to the house for the kids on Christmas Eve, so we always get one present from him that we open Christmas Eve. But the main presents we always open on Christmas morning.

 Q6. Have you ever built a gingerbread house?

I haven’t actually, but I would love to!

Q7. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?

When I first get on Christmas break, I love to get my Christmas shopping and present wrapping done and visit some Christmas markets, they’re some of the first things I get done. I love to then spend time with family and friends and drink lots of alcohol (without sounding like an alcoholic, ha!) because why not since it’s Christmas and there’s no work the next day. I love getting the chance to sit down and watch some Christmas movies too to get in the festive spirit. But the best part? getting to turn your early morning alarm off, yaaaas!

Q8. Any Christmas wishes?

That all my nearest and dearest have a lovely and peaceful Christmas, and look forward and make the new year ahead a great one! And that they, especially my brother Karl, stay healthy for another year.

Q9. Favorite Christmas smells?

Spiced apple, cinnamon, and gingerbread, ahh they just scream Christmas to me! I do like the Christmas tree smell too, but unfortunately we’ve never had a real Christmas tree so I’ve never grown to love the smell.

Q 10. Favorite Christmas meal or treat?

As weird as it sounds I absolutely love the sprouts in Christmas dinner, I really look forward to having them the one time of the year. And the rare treat of either pancakes or a big fry up for Breakfast.
