Hellooo !

I know I’ve been a stranger , it’s been a hot minute since I last posted , I do apologise.

I thought I’d come back with a very special post for a very special person in my life. My brother Karl just turned 18 this week , woop woop ! I still can’t believe how fast the years have gone !

It was an honour to be able to celebrate with him , the reason being that the last few months have been so scary that we wouldn’t be able to celebrate with him as he’s very sick. But we were blessed to be able to celebrate Karl officially become an adult , and I couldn’t be a prouder big sister !

I also have to thank Karl for inspiring me from a young age to be appreciative and more grateful for the things I very often find myself taking for granted. For example , going to college or getting a job , which I’m sure I’m not the only one to admit I’ve complained about , you’d be lying if you said you haven’t haha !

Here’s a little life update …

I was inspired by Karl to go to college after school and study in the area of special needs , and last week , after waiting so long and countless applications , I finally was offered my first job as a special needs assistant , hell fucking YES ! I haven’t been this happy about a job ever , and after the last few months , it’s been just the bit of good news and confidence boost I needed.

And I can’t thank Karl enough for being my inspiration , and for showing me that if he can enjoy life and still be the happy and smiling person he is , that we have very little to complain about in life. You’re a true champion little bro , happy birthday , and I hope we have many more celebrations to come , I love you.

I’m gonna leave it at that before it gets to emosh haha , but I hope you all enjoyed reading , and thank you very much if you did take the time to read it.
