One Year Of Blogging…

It’s Laura’s Little World’s 1 year anniversary!

It’s come around so quick! Although I didn’t post for a little while a couple of months ago, I got back into it and I absolutely love it. This day last year I was so nervous, didn’t really have the confidence in myself, it took a lot to pluck up the courage to start a blog and share it on social media. Not knowing how people would react was terrifying, especially the people I knew. Would they think it was stupid? Would people even want to read what I have to say? All sorts of things went through my head. Blogging was something I had wanted to do for a while, I love reading blogs about real life topics that you can relate to, so that’s what inspired me to start a blog. A year ago today, I hit publish on my first ever post, Welcome To My Blog. I felt so positive when I got such a great reaction from my first readers when I posted about it on social media, my family and friends, and for a good while, they were my only readers. Until I started to grow more confident and really got back into blogging back in late August/ early September, and started to get involved in the blogging community. Blogging and getting involved in the blogging community was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve grown more confident, I’ve started to believe in myself, and it’s been a way for me to talk about memories, beauty products I love, my personal thoughts and feelings, and all the other good stuff.

Since getting involved in the blogging community, I’ve gained so many lovely people, readers, and the support on the more personal posts I publish has been so uplifting. It may seem small to some of you, but I honestly can’t believe I’m on my way to coming up to 200 followers/subscribers on my blog, in what feels like such a short space of time!
